What This Platform Does NOT Do
- ✗Independently organize or operate any chess tournament
- ✗Collect or hold entry fees on its own account — all payments go directly to organizers
- ✗Guarantee tournament execution, prize distribution, or refunds
- ✗Take responsibility for last-minute changes, cancellations, or disputes
Organizer Responsibility
Tournament organizers who list events on this platform are solely responsible for:
- All tournament operations, scheduling, and execution
- Verifying player eligibility and category placements
- Collection, handling, and refunding of entry fees
- Venue arrangements, arbiter appointments, and logistics
- Prize distribution and adherence to advertised prize structures
- Compliance with Chess Federation rules and local regulations
- Timely communication with registered players regarding any changes
Payment & Registration Disclaimer
Entry fees are paid directly to tournament organizers via bank transfer. ChessConnect SL does not process, hold, or guarantee any payments. Approved registrations are confirmed by the organizer after verifying payment receipts. Refund eligibility is determined entirely by the organizer's policy. We strongly recommend confirming payment receipt with the organizer before the tournament date.
Accuracy of Information
While we make reasonable efforts to verify tournament information before publication, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current status of all details. Tournament dates, venues, fees, and categories may change after listing. We recommend contacting the organizer directly for the most up-to-date information before registering.
Player & Parent Responsibility
Players and parents using this platform are responsible for:
